I think NG is naturally going to get a larger share of the electricity generation market along with nuclear. Solar and wind will also continue to take share away from coal.

I wish I could find that article again. I think I mistakenly posted it to Brumar, but addressed it to you. It was a new effort by the Dems to get our gov't orgs to invest heavily in R&D for NG electricity generation and NG vehicle R&D and at scale deployment. They put alot of money behind it, which is what impressed me.

The Dems really are trying an all of the above approach, with the two exceptions of not letting oil drill everywhere and taking the oil subsidies away. Other than that, they are going whole hog on every other energy source.
