Ali , there are a number of reasons why I believe you are mistaken
Firstly investors have found out lately all Hi-techs can be regarded as speculative . AMD has the product and they have the production facilities to make a real dent in the microprocessor market , their only problem right now is their temporary inability to produce high speed parts in volume . When that turns around this stock will be making quarterly earnings per share in the dollars not cents IMHO
When you see stocks like Dell making 65 cents or so in a quarter
with a book value of $3.83 and selling for $90+ ,with AMD's book value around $15 (which equals the book value of Compaq and Dell combined) and AMD capable of those kind of earnings it is Hi-tech stock with the most upside potential
