I use my debit card or AMEX. It makes almost no sense to put anything on credit, unless I get 12 months interest free and don't feel like paying for it right now. 2 months later, I feel guilty and pay it off anyways. I get sick of looking at the statements.

I stay with credit cards for virtually all purchases because of the grace period and the time lapse between purchase and statement date. I do not carry a balance, needless (I hope) to say.

I'm very careful to pay well before due date.
