You miss the point I think....these 19 million shares have been locked up and unsellable. On Nov. 13 th they become unrestricted thus eligible for sale, thus increasing the float....these shares were issued at the IPO for 18 dollars(or whatever the IPO price was . I forget exactly) and now the stock is 60, just 6 months later!!!!! I contend that alot of these shares will be sold for profit taking ....that will defintely depress the stock price significantly.....law of supply and demand, and all that jazz......best of luck....;^)

Bob,

I'm not confusing these shares with a secondary. However I believe that you will see some insider selling and some shares being sold to raise cash for the company, if not now, withing the next year. Even a million shares added to the float will kill this stock.

People seem to also forget more competition is likely to start up soon.

I'm not sure what will trigger the decline, but it will happen.

BTW- I have deep enough pockets an can withstand a squeeze (which I admit might happen). I am quite comfortable being short on the stock. Like I said in other posts, don't bet the farm either way on AMZN.
