I like it, with a few modifications.
The "remove" button would be activated on a thread at the moderator's option. I would also allow the moderator the option of setting the removal threshold - preferably something more than 10 clicks. A big political thread would look like big hole Swiss cheese after a removal raid, as would a stock thread with bulls fighting it out with bears.
Perhaps it should not be possible to click "remove" on posts written by someone who's been on the remover's ignore list in the last ten days (you didn't have to read that post after all, and no fair toggling off the ignore function to enable post zapping).

Feasible? Beats me. Bob's the programmer. We just dream up stuff.<g>

Personally, I think that post removal should be solely at the discretion of SI Admin.

There are lots of people on threads who disagree with what others post and if a thread were self-policing then posts that have not violated the Terms of Use would be removed simply over a difference of opinion. That just doesn't seem fair.

You brought up a point or two I hadn't considered to mitigate some of the problems that exist when users can delete posts.

But even if I bought in to that model (and it's a very tough sale), it'd be even tougher to get me to go along with the programming work it'd take to make it happen, especially when I'm the geek who'd be doing it.

And at this point in time it's really a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Our members are VERY well-behaved.
