I never said to ban anything. That is completely unjustified. Not to say reactionary.

As you say. And if fact I said that words, as in the words of Paul, do influence. If one person does not like the influence, they are welcome to present another perspective to try to influence people in another direction.

You agree or not?

I am not interested in participating in your 'agree or not agree' games, especially as they concern Hollywood, which I find of far less interest than issues of water and many other universal primary concerns to our servival. It is rather like that fellow from some southern state right now bothering Sotomayer about her 'temperment' when he has quite often shown himself to be obnoxious. Why not talk about MJ on and on if we are going to talk about Hollywood? Hollywood is no more important than a novel on the best-seller list... and if it bothers someone... get something on there more popular. Does Hollywood influence, or do people go to the movies they choose? Are people forced to buy one book over another???

it it dominated by liberal/left wing thinking, then the influence it exerts can be said to be left wing/liberal.

If you actually really look at movies, imo, you will find them to be dominated by steroid-pumped white males who can hardly deliver dialoque. other than that???

I don't watch many movies, being not interested in pumped-up white males who can hardly deliver a line beyond a monotone. I read, instead, and watch other things on tv.

and who cares what influence Hollywood does or does not have? It doesn't interest me. Water is an important issue. Hollywood is not.

And, no, of all I have seen of Hollywood for years, I would not consider it leftwing. If it were, Bruce Willis would not be a star.... and they might actually have some women writers of note, not to mention writers of color.
