Hi Gib:

My perspective is that we will get plenty of both deflation and inflation. Deflation resulting from massive excess manufacturing capacity worldwide and lousy demand. Inflation resulting from 24/7 money printing. Some folks tend to think inflation and deflation are mutually exclusive, which is not accurate. They can coexist happily under certain circumstances. Both are nasty to those living through it and both tend to push gold prices up.
