Germany, not Europe, came out of its depression during the mid 30s.

Wrong, Europe recovered in the mid 30's beginning with Sweden. The primary cause for the slow recovery was actually part of Rosevelts initial fiscal conservatism, that is to balance the budget, especially a refusal to cut tax's.


No, it didn't. Read your link. Germany AND Sweden recovered......Germany and Sweden do not Europe make. The rest of Europe languished at low levels through most of the 1930s.
