Some parts of the country are struggling more than others, but the malaise is spreading.

Today, a very good friend who owns a successful ad agency that I do a lot of contract work for, told me that she can only operate for one more month and then will have to lay off her 15 employees. She struggled for 10 years to get the creds and now says she has to walk away.

I'm hearing more and more stories like that, unfortunately. These idiots in DC have no concept of the damage they are doing to the country and its economy. And just think, the tax increases really haven't kicked in yet. Just wait till they do and we'll see business failures up and down the line.

We are mostly in Treasuries and cash now...but the real problem is "if (when)" the Government starts to print more and more money and causes Hyperinflation, what do we do then...?

Even if we draw it out of the banks, securities, etc and put it under the mattress the dollar is worth whatever the country that backs it says it is....and what others outside the country say its worth....

The Government is currently in a currency and business destruction mode.

We are now retired (even if he still goes to work at his own business at 73) and the inflation that we have all experienced since last summer with the $4 a gallon gas prices is very difficult to cope with...Boxes of cereal at nearly $5 etc, the costs of all utilities, and the rising cost again of gas, plus of course the rising taxes etc etc...

I'm concluding the current group of misfits in DC either don't have a foggy clue of what they are doing and causing, OR worse yet, that they do....

They are continuing to add more and more programs rushed through, not thought out, at full speed ahead, to totally take over this country.
