No Mme - I don't like Obama's fiscal policie

Then, I presume that you prefer the Bush/McCain fiscal policies -- lower taxes on the rich while prosecuting two wars and approving every domestic spending initiative because deficits don't matter?

You don't get it. You're not "challenging" anything. You're just whining. I know you think you are challenging- because you absolutely believe what you write, that's clear- but that's not a "challenge"- that's hot air.

So please, don't confuse your opinions with facts. They are not the same thing.

If you had been posting facts, that would actually have been interesting- if you could have kept your snarky commentary out of it. Snarky- it's a turn off. If you were trying to convince, you blew it. Post numbers, and let them speak for themselves. The "Obama lied" is about as convincing as "Bush lied, people died"- I'm sure you found that super convincing, now didn't you? Now if you are just here to be the stick poking guy from another thread who thinks Obama lied or is stupid, and liberals are stupid- keep up what you are doing. It's perfection.

Think about it.

Bear,

<<The basic numbers have not changed>>

I think that they have. I think the chart the Greenspirit posted a bit ago which showed that job loss was greater than what was being predicted for even the first quarter of '09 shows that things are far worse than what was being predicted.

The government needs to make up the demand that is lacking in the economy right now so the deficits are needed right now. The fact that increased taxes are being discussed right now is also a good sign because revenue will need to be brought into balance with spending. The question is there the political will among the Dems in Washington to eventually show the restraint on the spending side.

Healthcare definitely complicates this whole process. It would be helpful for American business to be competitive for a good bill to address healthcare in this country to be passed. I think the push for this is good. I know that it is important to get this done as quick as possible but I fail to see the benefit to rush something out right now, unless they think that they won't have the political capital to get this through later in the year.
