Reminds me of the Flat Earth (FE) people - At one time, around 1950's, it was a 5000 strong group. Finally, in the seventies, after multiple torch handoffs, it was down to some old guy and his wife in Lancaster - a real intellectual garden spot, for those familiar with SoCal cultural hot spots. The old paper-based FE society died with that one old guy but there is still a site even today. Unfortunately the climate deniers of today have our butts in a wringer politically. They don't understand complex phenomena where there are counteracting effects of colloids and reflection and increases or decreases in albedo. They really want someone to make it "simple". So they find it made "simple" by these sites, but not in the sense that they think...
