Thanks for your excellent job running the contest. I like your format.

I agree - it was depressing. I'm happy for Cink but wouldn't it have been really great if Watson had won? The look on his face is just heartbreaking.

Zinger's comment on 18 just before TW putted from fringe was spot on: "His caddie should go to TW and tell him to knock it in". This is what his old caddie would have done and TW would now be Open champ.

Thanks for the tourny-I was rooting for Fisher as I had him at 50-1 with $3. Too bad, after he got to -5 I thought it was a lock.

TW made an amateur mistake on 18 when he putted with the collar behind his ball-he struck it firmer thinking the grass would kill the putt-instead the green is still fast and nothing wrong with lagging. TW still is the class of ALL golfers-only 2 men are close-Crenshaw & Palmer. This can be verified by the eldery ladies & gentlemen that carry the score banner. The most disliked are Strange, Fulten Allen and Snead.

Thanks for the great format.

Now I wonder if Tom Watson will play in the British Seniors Open this week, and the U.S. Seniors Open the next.
