The problems that come from under-paying for services for thirty years and trimming and cutting until education (for ONE) goes from one of the best in the land to 47th. Washington doesn't HAVE those problems.

I heard a stat here the other day that was an eye-opener. 70% of my county's revenues go to pay for justice expenditures. Courts, cops, jails, prisons, probation, etc. I imagine it's the same in CA.

That's where the money is, so, THAT's what will be cut.

Ted, > And I keep telling you the problems are more severe in CA.

Which problems? The ones that just come with the territory, or the ones exacerbated by social programs that are meant to help but more often than not foster a sense of dependency and entitlement?

The ones that come with the territory.
