RW, I love how you pretend that "the dues are lower now," because the truth is that they have never been higher in any point in history. Young couples can't afford new homes because current homeowners ran up the prices. Dual income is now the norm instead of a luxury, along with all of the added costs associated with it. College used to be enough for a professional career, now it's just the extension of K-12 education. Post-graduate degrees are now the norm. Kids and teenagers these days are asked to grow up much, much faster than they were asked to before, all because parents neglect to be parents. You say you paid your dues to society, but the truth is that you're now reaping the rewards. Every time you whine about it (and complain about those you think are chronic whiners), you are seeing the effects of the "I got mine" society that you helped to create. Tenchusatsu
