Time spent debunking inaccuracies is never wasted, whatever the intent of the original post.

Don't disagree with that part; it's the next step in which one gets into tos and fros.

You can't have the yin without the yang. Despite the anguish from some, my posts stimulate conversation and discussion. It's only when others respond with rude third party jabs, or outright rudeness that it deteriorates the thread. And that's really not my issue.

Soon, I plan on responding to what some believe was a clear victory for "Team Global Warming" in regard to the history of Global Cooling and the writers who supported it.

Real research takes more time than simply copy and pasting wikipedia.

I felt like the birth certificate thing went in to an endless loop of Waiting for Godot meainginglessness- as does the climate change stuff, and much of the other stuff. If all we get is clearly marginal stuff from outside the mainstream, no one is learning anything debunking it. It's just an exercise in debunkment- and we all know how to do that already, but it rarely convinces the one or two people who bring the bunk to the table in the first places. So what's the point- really? What do we learn aside from the fact that life is suffering?
