I'm not sure how anyone comes to the conclusion that all or most liberals don't believe in wealth creation. It's like saying all Swedes don't believe in it. It's a stupid thing to say. Just because you see a different balance between government services, taxation and business does NOT mean you are against wealth creation. Sweden has plenty of businesses- large and small, as does Norway, or Denmark. And I ran a small business. I enjoyed it. I've worked in private businesses. I enjoyed that. I work for the government now. I enjoy that. Never been fired. Never bankrupted a business. My husband has always worked for private entities- except for his time in that great socialist enterprise- the US military.

I understand it's very easy to create bizarre strawman arguments like "Democrats don't care about wealth creation"- but it's absolutely pointless to argue with people who create those arguments. They want the strawman to be reality. It's hard to deal with a complex reality full of people who balance things slightly different from you, but who are not inhuman enough to be classified as "the enemy". Much easier to just make them the enemy and avoid the hassle of nuance.
