Ted, > Do you think having multiple sex partners is a sign of moral depravity?

For the most part, I do.

Why?

Sex is as natural as breathing. It's you with problems, not me.

Sex with multiple partners is not in and of itself a morally depraved condition. It doesn't apply to the Bull of a herd nor would it apply to a Human stud in some situation where there was a lack of males, as has been the case historically following major wars.

Depravity indicates a condition where the person is lacking in the common healthy and good substance that is natural and right for human beings.

Usually when we use the words together 'moral depravity' we are suggesting that the person lacks the moral character of respect and a positive regard for the well being of others, especially others upon which he/she intends to have influence.

If it could be shown that the consequence of multiple partners (especially concerning non-committed relationships) predicts misery for those who would be influenced by the voluntary behavior of the person engaging multiple partners, it is concluded that the person is acting in a morally depraved manner. Such self gratifying disregard for the well being of others could not in fact be considered otherwise.

"Case in point: Bentway."

Good example.
