Shows total reserves of 41.7 bn of which only 18.5 bn are not already US$. When one talks about buying dollars it is surely only the latter figure (18.5 bn) that is available, I would think. Pretty ambitious to talk about supporting the USD exchange rate with that kind of war-chest eh ? I guess they might look for help to other nations with similar goals, though. It's really beyond me, so I'll just follow the market leads.
