Why haven't they already done it with Medicare or any of the other health care progams the federal government runs? No new law is needed there. Is it too much to ask they fulfill their promises on the half of the national health care system already under federal control before taking over the rest?

Nobody really believes the federal government will improve care or make things more efficient. The idea is ludricious.

the medical care that failed him so miserably was privately run. The doctors, hospitals, specialists...here and in Fl were all private enterprises.

And doctors, hospitals, specialists will still be private providers under the Presidents system. No different than under Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
