skeeter i read your posts all the time. i think you're mostly a free market type. so we only differ slightly on the issues.

the urge to make money isn't bad in itself. it depends on if it is honorably applied. the urge to make money in the free market produces all the good things we have today. the urge to make money in a criminal manner produces much of the pain and suffering we have today. so the urge to make money isn't really even relevant. it's how one tries to make money that counts.

people that swindle or force others to pay are little different than bank robbers. they take all and contribute nothing.

i'm not talking about theory. i'm talking about proven and practiced free market principles. principles that have been refined with time.

free markets do have rules. but they are rules developed in the free market not imposed by some outside agency like the government.

the difference between us i think is that while you believe in the free market most of the way, i believe in it all the way.
