>>the free market never gets destroyed.<<

that's an ideology - a religion if you will. the free market won't save anything - it will be manipulated by greedy people until the greed inherent within people is changed or the end of humanity, whichever comes first.

>>it will always win in the end. but it can be crippled for a time by stupid laws that attempt to fix prices.<<

few trends have been more consistent than increased control of markets by fewer and fewer people.

now we have gangster government - better suck up to your local elected official, soviet or china style...

youtube.com

>>the dumb ass politicos in washington tried hold housing prices high with bailouts, circumvention of traditional laws, tax breaks and various other interventions that haven't worked. the free market is imposing itself and punishing the stupid and fraudulent.<<

goldman sachs was fraudulent and they are making record bonuses - where do the rest of us get that kind of tough leve? <g>

ok, i see what you mean. i agree that reality can't be suspended forever.

>>however, congress is stepping in and making the rest of us who were responsible, pay for the ones that weren't. that's not a free market. but it doesn't matter. they will fail. it's just that they (gov) cause many innocent people a lot of pain that they shouldn't have to bear.<<

but will they cause us to fail with them? absolutely.

>>back to health care.. insurance companies just play a shell game. they have to take money out of the system to pay employees and lobbyists and even more to make as much profit as they can. in short, they are parasites. eventually, they will kill the host. but we will all suffer much more pain until then at their hands.<<

and their replacement will likely not be any better overlords. the money will just go to new groups of politically connected people.

good ole brusa! banana republic, usa!

" the dumb ass politicos in washington tried hold housing prices high with bailouts"

Shopping for a mazda3, seems like they have the 'tax rebate'
priced in.

'unintended consequence' or 'intended'.

AWESOME.
