I am just saying that is how silly we are being. The Republicans were solidly against medicare. How many would be aqainst it today? Or social security. they also said the clinton budget would be disasterous. they ar worng time after time after time. We dems should be ramming this stuff through like FDR did. Given the fact the right wingers are showing their stupid side with Sotomayor we dems will pick a huge majority of Hispanics in the next election. We should just keep pushing. The grand irony is that if we got Canadian style health care, 85% of American's would like it too once they experienced it.
