Incorrect. They were digitized. They do still exist.

Hawaii officials confirm Obama's original birth certificate still exists
Posted on: Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Mainland media has also continued to focus attention on the birthers. CNN's Lou Dobbs last week demanded Obama's original birth certificate. That was followed by CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein telling staffers of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" that the issue is a "dead" story, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

In an e-mail, according to the Times, Klein wrote that CNN researchers had determined that Obama's 1961 birth certificate no longer exists because Hawai'i officials had discarded paper documents in 2001 — a claim denied yesterday by Isle health officials.

In 2001, Hawai'i's paper documents were reproduced in electronic format but "any paper data prior to that still exists," Health Department spokeswoman Okubo said.

The long forms don't exist any more. They were all destroyed after Hawaii went all electronic records in 2001.

This is apparently incorrect. From what I've read the originals should still exist, they just don't normally provide the long-form until the additional information is required.

"The long forms don't exist any more. They were all destroyed after Hawaii went all electronic records in 2001."

It's already been proven that you are wrong....but think about it, CJ, no information is ever going to be destroyed....just scanned into a more manageable form.

Now...are you going to apologize? Didn't think so.

Hey, if you have a problem with the facts, then maybe your caretaker could explain it to you, but to resort to name calling only makes you look like the little coward sissie that you are lacking any ability to present or counter comments beyond age 3... so, if you're presented with the facts here by a credible source, I suggest you show some balls and be an adult about it, just apologize and admit you were wrong... don't be like obama who lies and then denies he ever said it in the first place... so go ahead, apologize or shut your sissie cake hole...

Conflicting stories. The documents were destroyed but a state official swears they saw them and everything is kosher.
