If you qualify the question with the fact that they have to pay $500 for it, support drops to below 40%. If you qualify the question such that they pay the full cost (i.e., so it is "revenue neutral"), the number supporting it drops well below the 40% level, into the 20s I seem to recall -- whatever it is, it is far less than 40%.

Specifically for the public option? I would like to see that data.
