Ending obesity isn't something I think our government should be involved in. Well maybe to a trivial extent, and also we could look harder for, and try harder to end, ways the government would contribute to obesity, but a serious government effort to end obesity would be semi-totalitarian, and still wouldn't be likely to work at least not fully.
