Sounds criminal! Making money at the misfortune of other countries. A lot of people in Asian send their kids overseas to school. The currency changes hit them very hard. With education rates the way they are, it can be the grindstone which breaks the camel's back. To keep kids at school, they now have to borrow at fantastical high rates.

Very good article. If they could anticipate the effect of Hong Kong turmoil on US they may have shorted US markets as well.

So, if Soros happened to decide that the US was next, the logical move would be to float a bunch of bonds at todays low rates in prep for selling short the dollar... hmm.

We can rest comfortably with the assurance that the lower dollar will be good for american exports and jobs ;)
