I disagree. It's on my ToDo list, but it keeps getting pushed down..

All the bill says is that the doctor will be reimbursed for the time he spends discussing this with you....but you have to initiate the discussion. A living will or a health care proxy is a very inexpensive legal document. Having this provision in the bill addresses a small expense and gives the GOP a huge propaganda tool. That's all I am trying to say. I think it's a noble thing to have in the legislation, but it is a political mistake. The dems could have achieved the same result more cleverly and deprived the GOP from stirring up the looney tunes with calls of forced euthanasia.

Al
