Is there any reliable maner of determining the purity of fish oil?

Consumer reports checks it every few years and reports that almost all is done to the same purity. The only issue I run into is rancidity, and if you buy bottles at a big box normal useage will stop that from happening.

The thing is that people who take Fish oil Capsules find they help when test results come in.

i would just like to know where i can purchase fruits and vegetables that still contain vitamins? vitamins for those who are unfamiliar w this subject ;o), was a common ingredient back in the 50's but recently has fallen by the wayside for bigger, more colorful, better and more profitable produce. i wonder if the fda could be motivated to test the nutritional content of todays fruits and veggies with that of previous years? ,..., but there is no profit in preventive medicine

I don't think it is a small issue, esp. if we take substantial amounts of it for an extended period.

The safest thing might be to switch brands and types from batch to batch to reduce risk over time.
