i wonder if the fda could be motivated to test the nutritional content of todays fruits and veggies with that of previous years?

There was a recent major study out of Europe, I believe, that found no nutritional difference between "organic" and "normal" veggies.

i would just like to know where i can purchase fruits and vegetables that still contain vitamins?

Farmers' markets or your own garden are the best sources. Because produce loses vitamins after being picked, you optimize by eating as soon after picking as possible. The next best course is frozen. Veggies are usually frozen soon after picking.

I don't bother. I don't eat a lot of veggies and almost no fruits so it hardly matters.
