Here's a metric to consider:

United Kingdom: 78.54
United States: 77.85
Mexico: 75.41

But since the USA is a nation of immigrants and mexicans make up about 10% of the USA.

78.54 * 0.9 + 75.41 * 0.1 = 78.227

I think we're probably right were we should be considering the immigrants did not spend their entire lives in the USA under our medical care and of course there are diet and race related length of life variables.
