Good point. What was done to Estrada was shameful....BUT...I don't think that justifies Repubs. acting like Dems. Elections have consequences. If the nominee is qualified I think the Prez should get his pick....and I think for better or worse.....Sotomayor is qualified.

Right, and just how long did the remember GW's Hispanic nominee? Sotomayor is an activist judge; but perhaps you like such judicial objectivity; who knows?<<

I am just talking the politics. Doesn't matter what I think. And Obama will keep setting that trap, as it worked so well, and the right wing will keep falling into it.

Sotomayor was even more moderate than Souter. Obama will probably nominate another woman next time, even further to the left, and maybe a black woman.

This drama is only starting.
