Why did Reagan create the debt problem instead of LBJ or Eisenhower?

I'm not sure, perhaps Reagan was criminally insane. Reagan's magic debt plan crippled economic growth.

One small part was Reagan's mad scheme "to get government regulators off the back of the Savings & Loan industry" which managed to impode the S&L sector within eight years, costing taxpayers a fortune.

Tax cuts paid for with massive new debts was another pillar of his Bad Deal program.

I see that he didn't answer "What did you do to protect yourself? What are you doing now?" nor answer your 2nd attempt to find out what he's actually doing.

Just another person excessively focused on one political party to the exclusion of the other, asserting that [insert name] was eeeeeevil and responsible for all or most problems, muddying the waters with "credit card debt" etc., and ignoring prior events and their effects... and real underlying causes.

Black & white "logic" can be quite amusing... <ng>
