Elroy, interesting data, but 10 swine? 10? i think they need to revisit their study to make their low sample size didn't influence the data.

as an example, the spanish study that showed an 83% reduction in diabetes correlated to a mediterranian diet had over 13,000 human participants.

note egg yolks are listed as strongly inflammatory with a -341 rating...

if your diet is anti-inflammatory, you will limit the use of highly inflammatory foods. in my case, i pretty much eliminated egg yolks, just as i limit my veggie oil intake (it is almost impossible to avoid when eating out).

the results have been very positive. my life long allergy problem disappeared and i've gone 2.5 years (and counting) without missing a day of work due to a cold - nearly 3x my previous best (i don't think i ever went a year without missing school or work with a cold until i started my anti-inflammatory diet.

i have a friend who found relief from 5+ years of constant back pain within 36 hours of starting an anti-inflammatory diet. she avoided a dietary change to the very end - she ended up blowing $10k out of pocket on medical imaging only to be told surgery may or may not help. only then did she go with a dietary change as a last gasp. 4 days later he ulcer medication was of no use - her ulcer was gone and she had no need for taking anti-inflammatories.

also keep in mind that the most powerful drug for preventing heart disease is aspirin - an anti-inflammatory that has ZERO impact on cholesterol. too bad death is one of its potential side effects.
