How come Farrah Fawcett went to Germany for her cancer treatments? Are you seriously that stupid? Because the US government had not approved those treatments i.e. the FDA. No you're not right - you're an idiot on the one hand suggesting we let the government control health care and then complaining when they do.

As a strong potential medical tourist, I can tell you the the flow is FROM the US, TO foreign destinations, many of which are beginning to specialize in certain procedures. Admittedly, most of these are uninsured people fleeing the ridiculous cost of US health care, but many of the places are acquiring reputations as the place to go for certain surgeries.
