It is a three-way play on words, but briefly the Sup- is short for Superior, my favourite beer in Chiapas, and the Tomandante part derives from the Spanish verb "tomar", which means "to drink". My other brother Marcos, el Sub-Comandante, is more famous, here is his website; ezln.org Paul, you can write, along with chuca and Zeev and a few others you lift the general level of this thread, I have enjoyed a few hours here in the last few months.
