There has been any number of medical studies done that strongly link the condition of one's mouth to the condition of one's heart.

It is an excellent example that proves my point: you cannot afford to give everyone dental care in an effort to prevent heart disease. It would be an insanely expensive way of going after heart disease.

It is for this reason we don't pay for full body scans. Sure, you might detect things earlier but it is totally not cost effective.

This isn't a matter of knowing or not knowing about the subject matter. It is just common sense. Anyone who passed 7th grade math can figure this out.
