Coverage (conditions of... limitations, etc.) are spelled out in the policies, right?

Very much so. Many out there at the present time.

So what makes you think that would not ALSO be true in other policies?

I don't think that for any except the public option. The public option is not a policy. Its a government program to provide health care to everyone. You, taxpaying citizens, illegals, and indigents. This program can change upon the whims of Congress. Politics are eventually going to be inserted. Remember affirmative action? I wouldn't be surprised to an amendment added at some point that allows illegals to get first in line for care because the Democrats believe its the only fair and equal thing to do.
They are going to tell you what to do and what is going to be covered when and how, because they make the laws. Insurance companies don't make laws, they abide by them. The coverage, when it changes, is going to. And the only thing one can do to try and stop it to riot in the streets.

Once the public option is set in place its going to put everything else out of business in time. In time, there is going to be no choice, only government controlled healthcare. Want to know why?
