While I don't believe there is any conspiracy or malicious intent, the Left has an inherent belief that peoples' lives should be controlled by government in minute detail. Concur. Re control, my understanding of the issue on the table was not about the proposed health care system controlling peoples' lives. It was about whether the the politicians advocating the proposal are lying to us about it for their own selfish interests--financial and/or political power and control. That's what I was addressing in my posts. The centralized control inherent in the proposal is something else again.
