Technically all of it. The TARP and budget deficit was inherited by Obama and the stimulus plan was necessary to devolve the mess bush left behind.... This is a crock of crap. If you think you're going to pin this pork-filled stimulus on anyone but Obama you're nuts. The American people are stupid sometimes but not THAT stupid. Right now we would be looking at 20%+ unemployment. We would be in depression. The upper mid-west, God knows the hardship. These guys managed this thing like a heart surgeon. They were playing it by ear in uncharted ground, shooting from the hip... some fits and starts, but did an unbelievable job. Bernanke (Bush appointment and a Republican) deserves some of the credit. But it was the team. It's going to be the model for future economic disasters. It will be written up in every economic text book... the road map.
