Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass - doing drugs, while I work. . .

I feel the same about unemployment.

I know of people right now who draw more in unemployment than they could make. And they have no intention, whatsoever, of going to work until it runs out. Two guys I know of have said as much. "Why would I go to work when I make 400/wk on unemployment?"

Here, that's good money for someone who isn't a professional and doesn't really have a craft. And a single person can live decently on it and still buy a bag of dope now and then.

It is totally irrational.
