Dear David: I will start by saying I bowed to Skips post as he is more familiar than I in these matters and likely has more info available to him. But, I want to clear up a couple of statements you made. First off, I really wasnt thinking of Officers of the Company shorting (mainly because I dont believe they yet have enough stock to make it worthwhile), I was thinking of others classified as "Insiders" by the rules. Second, "Shorting against the Box" in my opinion is NOT a Bearish signal it is a Bullish signal. Why? Because it means they are not actually attempting to Sell their stock merely make a few bucks off it during the languishing period. If they expected it to go down and stay down I believe they would merely sell and be done with it. JDN
