>> I hear some deranged nutjobs think we're fine now.

That's the thing. The big "crisis" they all believe was upon us is gone. All a result of Obama's "stimulus" which hasn't even been spent.

Obama need only DICTATE that the economy is good, and so shall it be.

The reality, of course, is that he has kicked the can down the road to our children and grandchildren. It is pathetic.

The problem persists. It just isn't quite as evident as before.

How people can believe that Obama simply laying hands on a problem of such magnitude could have solve it -- it beyond me. RW apparently thinks that is the case.

It is a totally ignorant point of view. Nothing you do with the economy works that quickly. Bush's TARP I -- not an "economic" action, but an industry-specific one, probably saved the economy, ultimately.

But the second 350B and the 800B stimulus? A waste.

Rove falsely claimed Obama admin. pushing vets toward "assisted suicide"

August 25, 2009 7:23 pm ET — 20 Comments

Continuing Fox News' pattern of falsely suggesting that the Obama administration is pressuring veterans to end their lives prematurely, Karl Rove claimed that the Veterans Health Administration is directing veterans to an end-of-life educational booklet, "Your Life, Your Choices," that includes contact information for "a group that believes in assisted suicide," and thus "the kind of guidance we're giving returning veterans" is "you ought to go to an assisted suicide group." In fact, that group is not referenced in the current version of the document, a fact that Jim Towey -- who originated the smear of the booklet as a "death book" -- acknowledged in interview on Fox News Sunday.
