"change [and] overnight [more] traffic" The Haber Inc (OT:HABE) board on RagingBull has 33,145 posts, versus that company board here on SI has 775 posts. Years ago I tried many times to migrate the RB folks on that board to the IH and SI boards. It seemed an easy and logical move having a similiar FREE membership at IH or SI while receiving many positives feature upgrades plus leaving behind many negative aspects there. The reasons why they refused to change are easy to understand from the complex psyche people have. One obscure lurking reason is a frustration over a seemlying endless feeling of defeat on the company to not deliver the promise of the product it wants to being into the market. From that the shareholders on that RB board have a seizure of their nous and act like someone that will hold their breath until the situation they don't like changes to where everything happens to their liking. So they refuse to move physically to another web site and stand still in the RB mud. Well........ something did happen, a change where the company finally made positive progress. From this I received a post on this here SI's company baord from a well knowned poster on the RB board stating that he thinks moving everyone over here to SI would be in-line to reflect the company's positive change. Just maybe if enough others there in the RB mud realized that their newly bright and cheerful posting in that muddy place "shows" disrespect to what is now a real company, then they might leave, clean up their shoes and enter the "clean" house of SI. If so then maybe this could be a templete to target boards on RB that just turned from in-the-dumps to euphoriant posting such that a desire to leave to a more positive place like SI will be the beckoning tune heard over the mountain (www) calling everyone not a basher or shorter. (Not Moderated)" mean? One the the benefits to leave RB is the ability to ban and keep away certain nasty folks that causes a few good posters to "lose it" and engage in many mindless back and forth flame posts. Kind of hard to put on ignore posters that have a 50-50 good/bad posting record, so simply take away that nasty poster they can't seem to ignore. BTW ragingbull.quote.com Doug
