I don't think I'd classify the Kurds as a "religious sect". Saddam killed a LOT of Shiites too. I didn't SAY that the guy wasn't a ruthless dictator. I'm saying that the guy killed people he considered a threat to his dictatorship but he didn't just kill people based on their religion. How many Christians have been killed or driven out of Iraq since we invaded? How many Shiites have died BECAUSE they were Shiites and how many Sunni's have died simply BECAUSE they were Sunnis?? If we went into Iraq because he was a Ruthless Dictator then we should have just IGNORED Iraq and gone into N. Korea or Myanmar because they've killed MILLIONS of people in those places. They make Saddam look like a Quaker....
