I'm personally hoping that universal health care proves so expensive, we just won't be able to AFFORD any pissing match wars with tin pot dictators. My "starve the Pentagon" plan!

"If he can't afford $150/month for health insurance for his kid, he needs a different job"

As noted, he is unemployed. So, yeah, he needs a different job. Or, for that matter, probably any job...

He's from eastern WA....the red part of the state and the part that is not doing as well. Think West Germany = Seattle = Blue = prosperous; East Germany = Spokane = Red = not so prosperous.

If he can't afford $150/month for health insurance for his kid, he needs a different job. Or something.

You are dense. He got laid off and can't find a job....that's why he's going nuts.

He could afford it. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter to him that he owed all this money to the hospital. He's just thumb his nose at them.

$150 per month times each kid plus what he owes himself. We're talking a few thousand dollars per year. A lot of money when you don't have a job......not that you give a rat's ass.
