Ike: If the US markets are the leaders, why are the people that invest in the US so afraid of what happens in Honk Kong? How dependant are they on us, or how dependant are we on their markets and economies? Will this volatility cause another drop in the near future so we could get a few more good deals on equities? thanks in advance.

Ike,

Just want to remind you that Hang Seng futures settle on the last business day of the month (don't know if at the beginning or the end). My friends said they are uncertain whether the big boys covered the contracts they shorted yet or not. If not, then expect the market to be volatile and may probably head south.

My friend said it'll be a different story after that. But then they are just guessing what the big boys are doing. SO take that with a grain of salt.
