Yes, I've also read many articles about how the stock market had some great runs early in the depression of the 1930s. Very familiar to what we've seen in the markets lately.

That's why I think what they've done so far has been the best approach to this mess.

Some here seem to think we shouldn't have done anything for the banks or the auto industry or spent any money on the stimulus, but I'd hate to imagine what things would be like if we hadn't.
