<<That life expectancy table? "In their 2006 book, 'The Business of Health,' economists Robert L. OHSFELDT and John E. Schneider set out to determine where the U.S. would rank in life span among developed nations if homicides and accidents are factored out. Their answer? First place." >>

Really, that would mean all the numbers for
homicides and accidents for all other developed nations would have to be factored out also... and if the status of American health care improved compared to the rest it would not be something to shout from the roof tops...but be ashamed of.

Can you imagine the chant from the rabble"" we're #1,we're #1 because we kill more of our citizens by homicide and accident"" and lol

The American system would fair even better, if suicide, chronic deseases,Hiv/Aids, cancer and heart disease would be factored out but you would have to do the same for the rest of the developed nations so would point back to...why bother.

Try harder Brumar, i know you will come up with something.<g>
