In all fairness, you have to admit that Tuesday was an extraordinary day, to say the least. All brokerages experienced the same type of problems. I did two orders through WIPN and had the same problem with getting a confirmation. After the first order, I called the local office who advised me that orders were getting executed but the problem was a delay in confirmation. She assured me that my order was executed, and, in fact, it was at a better price. I called back after failing to get a confirmation on the second order. The broker checked it out and called me back in a few minutes to advise that it had been executed. She did advise me to call the local office when the market is experiencing heavy trading like Tuesday's and they would do the trades for $12.

Waterhouse jusat confirmed my Dell order time from Tuesday.

It took them 10 minutes to execute my Mkt buy of Dell

That 10 minutes cost me $9000

Waterhouse tells me they did the best they could and the trade was considered good!

Unbelievable

This is not over yet.
