OK, Wayne.

(But, in my personal opinion, the non-sustainable nature of Medicare/Medicaid absolutely MUST be addressed before too long. These programs represent the largest single rising component of our federal deficits --- even Social Security can't come close to the rate of increase in Medicare costs, and what that is doing to our national debt.)

And, FYI... at this very moment, Medicare is actuarilarly projected to run bankrupt (more going out of it's trust fund then is going in) by 2017!

So... there is no way to avoid looking at the program because *if we don't* the checks will have to start being slashed by 2017 ANYWAY.
